Tail lights and back up lens

Quick question. I am debating undertaking trying to do the S55 treatment for tail lights and back up lens. Can I use the above mentioned from a Crown Vic as them are readily available for a small fee compared to the MM ones. And that way if I mess up trying to do this myself I don't have to break my leg trying to kick my own a__. Just trying to debate trying it this way myself...

CV reverse lens are not tinted like MM.

CV tail lights are also not tinted like MM plus they have amber color on lens for blinker.

Damn ! Good call. Never even thought about them two things, specially the amber lens :(

Unless you get tail light lenses from a CVPI (Police Interceptor AKA P71).
