The Trilogy uses an Eaton (Roots-type) blower which generates a lot of heat, may not be the best option for your use with those high summer temperatures.

You read my mind with this thread. My mm is my only car and those HOT summer days and snowy winters had me thinking its not the best idea.

Yup, love the Eaton, except on hot days.

if temps are a big factor I would consider a Vortec, Paxton or ProCharger system then.

+1, should have offered that up as a suggestion, Chris. Prolly much better options for his application.

If you keep a conservative tune in the car, and keep it well maintained you should be fine.

Never had a problem with my trilogy in any temp!

Extreme heat 100+ degrees or extreme cold mid to low 30 degrees.

These blowers love the cold air!

To OP. You will only feel the heatsoak when your full throttle. When driving normal its good at high summer temps, even in your country it shouldn't be a problem. Also there is always the alternative of meth to help cool it down.

What DOOM and LANDY said. I used my car as a daily driver for two years with the full Trilogy set up, with no problems at all. Yes, it did bog a tiny bit in the extreme heat, but I never got into it for an extended period of time when it was 95F or above.

Now when it was around 38F-50F, LOOK THE F OUT! My foot was to the floor every chance I got!:burnout:

That may be an issue over there. Summer is from, like March to November, and if my experience in Qatar is anything similar; well let's just say driving habits are "spirited..." ;)

Everything is indeed, relative... 95F over there may be like 65F over here. But you are correct, Rex, that from the videos I have seen of driving technique in the Middle East, a super charged car, regardless the type, may have a very short life span!

It is note worthy that 2% of the 03 and 04 Marauders were modified with Trilogy S/C kits by their owners. That is an unheard of percentage in the after market business and a tribute to the concept and the quality and the safe tunes that come with the kits. These 250 kits are in use from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada to the Florida Keys in this country, many with a lot more S/C miles than the thirty thousand my FruitPunch had on it when sold this spring. There is no better engineered kit, no other kit that looks absolutely factory installed, provides full boost immediately and none that has more support. There is no better choice. We all note an increase in air density at lower temps but you will be thrilled at any temp with a trilogy kit. I spent 6 days over three summer weekends in south Florida with temps is the mid 90's at Sebring International raceway on the track with SVTOA running down Mustang Cobras and GT500's with the FruitPunch. If you can score a Trilogy kit don't hesitate, it will change your life. Everyone thinks their kit is the best, but I have been fortunate enough to drive them all as we have over 100 MM.Net members here in Florida. Buy the Trilogy. You will wish you had done it sooner. I will add that if you plan to abuse your Marauder as the U Tube idiots we see from the Kingdom seem want to do get something else. Maybe a Master Plumber final exam project from Mr. Reinhart. You can blow up your Marauder while your Credit Card blows up. Dennis

Ever been to Saudi? Forget the heat, he will never keep traction.

The roots blower will be fine in Saudi. Performance will not be optimal when over 100 F but it will in no way harm your car. I've seen gen 2 lightnings and gen 1 s/c Harley trucks over there run no problem.

Also, Houston (where i live) is typically over 105 in the summer for extended periods and the worst that has happened to me in an eaton boosted daily driver is heat soak, which in my real world experience you really only feel it on the top end.

Think about this: how many supercharged AMG Mercedes have you seen in Saudi? Those generally run eaton supercharges from the factory...........

We get hotter than 40 C/104 F in Texas in the summer, and it causes no problems. Certainly not optimal performance either, but no issues, either. Whatever you pick will have less power in the warm air, but your traction is likely to be better.

I daily drive Trilogy 93 and it is running mid twelves even in 85* temps actually the best ET was a hot lap 12.49@110.
It has 121,500 miles and has been supercharged since 30K

You guys all make good points. While the Roots-type blowers will heat sink in hot weather, they still provide plenty of low end grunt, which is fun no matter what the temp is.

I retract my original comments and join with you guys in recommending he go for it.

The key to this all is the tune.

In those hot temps make sure you have the IAT2 mod and a bigger heat exchanger.

Not just the heat, what about the cold winter days with possible snow on the ground?

For me,

missfire again happened in cylinder 8 (55 psi). My future plan is to look for a 04 mustang cobra eaton supercharged motor & may be manual tranny.

I think this will be the right choice for me.

Hope you good luck man.
