Depending on what exact bulbs you want replaced, if you get the bulbs I could install them for you.

I changed out my gauge cluster, lower gauge cluster, shifter, front map lights, rear map lights, floorwell lights and vanity mirror lights with 5k led bulbs. Also got rid of the Ford green on the gauge cluster, shifter and lower gauge cluster.

It's a pain really. I actually removed the needles and faces off each gauge section and then sanded off the green filter film. If I were ever to do it again I won't remove the needles and gauge faces, I did that to cut down on time but ended up costing me more time trying to dial the needles back in to read correctly.

Is your MM the only means of transportation or do you have another vehicle? I would say just ship the gauge cluster to me and I can get rid of the green filter but you will need pure white leds to replace the stock bulbs.

I have the LED bulbs if you need them. You'll need 6. They are easy to replace, just have to get the cluster out... which isn't hard either.

It would probably take me several hours to work on the gauge cluster so I would really only need the cluster for a day and then factor in shipping time.

If you have never done anything like it before then it could be a pain. If you do try to do it yourself I highly urge you to replace all the bulbs while you have it out. Most who replace one or two, shortly after replacement another one or two go out, just creates more work. If you go with LED bulbs it would be a long time for replacing any of them.

The stock green is still there, the bulbs just are illuminating it. Trust me cause the green filter film is a pain to get off. Either get a kit from FastBlackMerc or as I said in the PM I can get the parts as well.

Should the six leds replacing the stock bulbs be white or green?

The stock bulbs are white... or as white as incandescent bulbs can be.... replace them with white.

Correct. All the green from incandescent bulbs (upper/lower/shifter) is really just a white/yellow bulb shining through a green film filter. In this case you replace with a non-colored bulb.

If there was no filter (just clear) and the bulb itself was colored you would then replace the bulb with the same colored bulb unless you planned on changing colors.

CTLRaven, what kind of LED bulbs did you use/where did you buy them from? I need to do this to my old truck. It looks like it has some hotspots in the pic, would you say thats about accurate of reality or is it less or more spotty? Either way, it looks 10000x better than the stock ford green...

Did you use sandpaper or any chemical solution to get rid of the green?

I used these for all 194/168 and some 921 bulbs in my MM http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED-Bulbs/CornerSide-Marker-LED/White-LED/5K-WHITE-3-CHIP-5-LED-p9722412-1-2.html

There is some hot spots but that's because I didn't add in any white reflective tape or foil tape inside the gauge cluster to catch the escaping light and channel it back into the cluster. If the MM gauge cluster green film is left in place then the hot spotting is not nearing as bad or even really there.
