Powder coater did a pretty good job on the tape job. It hard to get a clean edge. Did they do the blue first then spray clear over the trilogy??? Looks good.

Its all powder brother. Lots o time in getting the edges.

At first I wanted to use a single stage chrome so it would be more chrome, once you clear over the chrome it gets more silver. But the single stage didn't like anything on top so I had to strip it:mad2: so then I layed the blue first instead of the chrome. Then the chrome and had to clean the lines up then layed the red and black then cleared the triangle, again cleaning the edges with a brush. Man was it a lot of work. I just thought all blue would be blah. So I had to spice it up some.

This isn't the first time for me doing the lettering that's not that bad. The pain was the crinkle and the triangle in the middle of the crinkle.

Well the blue looks really nice .I would of did the trilogy letters in a dark blue instead of red. It would blend better. But I'll say this you did a really nice job.

Ill have to disagree with the dark blue ,you see bud theres a method to my madness!

The blue crinkle finish matches the Alluminator cam covers, the chrome, and red letters will match the polished alluminum "FORD RACING" coil covers;)

It's cool to agree to disagree as some will say. His sig doesnt say he has a Alliminator or ford racing covers but if it does you would be right.

Thanks again fellas. The blue and red really clash. It was making my eyes go buggie when I was spraying it. But the chrome sets it apart so it doesn't make your eyes go wacky.

RacerX, if you ever try to lay the crinkle... have fun!:neener: It is really picky on thickness.:censor:
