Hey guys wanted to share this with you all. It is a company that has Ford overstock parts. I got a set of 31 Spline CVPI shafts from them. I just called them and the guy said he didnt have any more oem axles, just a universal aftermarket, what ever that is!

This would have been right on time since i just got ford racing 4:10s, auburn pro series diff, and install kit, just need 31 splines now, i may get a set of the Mosers.

Sparta Performance (a vendor here) can hook you up with the Ford parts, and at a good price.

Ive talked with Tommy, that was my first choice, i always prefer to do buisiness with a site vendor if possible.

Also would prefer a in house deal however 70 for oem 31 splines was a steal hence why there gone.

If ya got time Id would keep checking back Ive seen them listed on there website on 2 diff occasions. & yeah ur gonna need them with ur plans:beer:

Yeah i know theres been a debate on which is best, if i could get a deal on the oems i might buy them, i found the mosers for $450 at DTS which will be doing the install.

got mine from tously ford at employee discount. as long as your a member of svt performance.com you get the same.

to be honest i have to dig up the receipts.
i do remember that it came out to $790 total for a cobra diff all bearings and shims with axels.

I instructed Dom while he installed his yukon axles he said they were a good price

Also was looking at the Yukon axles because they are already set up for abs unlike the mosers. The Yukon axles may be the way to go....

I have a set of 31 spline mosers coming this week and they have abs rings installed.

I wish you all the luck man. After seeing firsthand Zack snap his right in half at the track right at the ABS ring because of faulty factory hardening, no thanks! I've never in my life seen such a clean break.

Everyone needs to keep in mind Moser makes 4 different series of axles from oe replacement to extreme strip, and didnt ford goof up on the 03s?

I'm sure Zack only bought the best. Whoever makes Fords did infact screw up. Probably moser. :)

In all seriousness, they comped a few out there (5 or 6 that we heard of) new ones because of a bad batch. It happens.
