Removing water spots.....

Well they turned the sprinklers again. Walked out and noticed some nice dried water spots on the front bumper and front of the hood. I tried detailer, no effect. Heard that a vinegar and water solution works? Any input appreciated.

For hard water spots I normally used distilled water with my car shampoo and just re-wash the car. For light water spots on my Taurus (which is black) I use the Turtle Wax Black Detailer spray.

How do you remove these spots off glass?

Acid Bath. Zaino makes a great glass cleaner.

I have several layers that cannot be removed. The only thing I didn't try was wet sanding.

The longer they are on there the harder to get off.

I apply the cleaner with a netted sponge or your wife's old loofa......

Tried this with no success. Meguier's is selling a waterspot removal product. Don't know if it works but might be worth a try. I think the spots on my rear bumper cover may need to be sanded out.:depress:
