I went pass the car and drooled by it about 5 times but did not speak to the owner. Smacdiesel was parked next to him so he might have spoken to him.
Trilogy in Cali was a question thats been running thruy mind since. Maybe he lives in an area where smog is not required. There are some small areas where it is not. I got that his name was Hal but that was all. And I did not get any pics. I know Im fired.

Anyone get details? I know way back when Lideo and Jerry flew out to NorCal to dynotuning.com to install a Trilogy for a guy in SoCal. I spoke to the owner of that shop and he built a new motor for that same Trilogy Marauder in 09" 20k just in motor Yikes!

I was there.

I was talking to Batmobile about that car. I was floored when I saw it. We conjectured he knew someone on the downlow that passed him or he lived in a non-enhanced smog county that didn't require the sniffer/computer/and/or visual inspection. I never did see the owner around but the car did have Cali plates.

How is it none of us saw the owner of that car? Smacdiesel was parked next to him, I wonder if he got a chance to talk to him.
Ooooooo..... The mysterious trilogized Marauder owner in Cali.:)

Yeah, seems no one saw the owner. It was already there when the first two of our group arrived.

I was looking through the Cars & Coffee site and saw a Trilogy Marauder in the pictures.

Found this thread and everyone talking about it already. :D

I think California emissions control standards are the most asinine things ever.

Over on the fbody forums, a guy reported going through a sniffer test with a mild cam (I believe he only had -8 degrees of overlap @ .050 lift, which is enough to have a noticeable lope in a 5.7 like the LS1), longtube headers and high-flow cats, and STILL met emissions requirements, and had the printout sheet to prove that his unburnt hydrocarbon output was within minimum standards, and yet because the vehicle had been modified, he would have technically failed the visual inspection.

****ING STUPID.
