Yeah I don't understand a "burnout" poll if you're selling your car.
What are we voting for?
What's the point in that?

There are flags on your car.
It is pretty cool that your car has such low mileage, sort of like a time machine but if you want to see a $40,000 Marauder check out "MarauderTJAs" ride.

So the rear bumper 'sag' starts before 5K? Did they make these cars to where it started sagging the minute you drove it off the lot???

You know what, it is what it is. That's the $$$ he wants for his ride, why is everyone busting his balls?
I wouldn't sell mine for less than 40k, ask yourself this, if you were to sell your MM, would you give it away (like you think the OP should), or would you ask for a premium figure?
That said, free bump for a low mile Trilogy car, good luck with your sale.

I agree. I may not agree with the price but it's his car, low miles etc etc. I hope he gets what he wants. But I don't think he should just give it away by any means.

Don't understand why you're so upset about a handful of comments, but it is what it is.
I'm pretty sure if he had it listed for only 15K or 20K, there would be members on this site that would say he should list it at a higher price...

I have tried to communicate to members here previously what Spectragod is frustrated with......... Namely the derogatory comments that are posted whenever a proud owner lists his vehicle for sale here...
This gentleman did not ask our opinions on the price he set for his Marauder.... We should have enough respect & class to remain silent if we don't want to support his effort to sell here at his price.........
There are plenty of other ways for folks here to demonstrate mastery of all things Marauder, if one is desperate to do so......

Well hello to all of you, I want to thank those who were considerate of my "Add" and as for the rest, I'm not losing any sleep...the $$ is driven by simple "supply & demand", the car Marauder is like a dinosaur, Mercury is no more! all you have is everybody’s else’s leftovers, but some of you haven't got past the "goes in toos" to know any better...I'm not waiting for a stampede, cattle’s only get slaughtered!...The jacket is XL and goes with the car...The sag is like "home grown tits" gravity kicks in and you'll get over it...It may not look clean, but its dusty & mean...You can spend the same $$ on a new Mustang or some other "toilet" but it’s not a Marauder!. Flags are good I'm all for "Made in the U.S.A."...The milage is low because I have 8 other rides...And I'm not wearing a flame suite but you can kiss my birthday outfit!

I hope you do sell it; you don't deserve to own a MM with that kind of an attitude.

The price is high, but not unreasonable. What I can't is that sag. It is so bad for such a low mile car. Unless every one of those miles was driven at speeds above 120mph, I just don't understand how it got that bad?

I can't argue with that....never claimed to know everything, or much of anything, about MMs for that matter; just didn't care for how you 'introduced' yourself and letting you know about it.
It's your car, your price; some like it, some don't (like me). You posted your 'add' to get feedback and that's what you got. I really don't care if you sell it or not. I have my MM and I love it. It's not the fastest or prettiest, but it's mine and that's all that matters. Buying my MM allowed me to join a very special group, and I've made GOOD friends over the past 13 months; friends that don't require my MM to be S/C'd, blown, etc, etc.
So, when a 'new guy' comes on here and posts up a bunch of garbage, yeah, it gets my BP up.
Is that 'nice' enough for you?

So you put a standard Trilogy on it--refer to a few "special " items you think we will be amazed about to an MM that you have kept from using cause you have 8 other cars and put it on top of the MSRP and expect the Marauder Car Forum to be in a welcome mood and think its a good sell price --------See what you got eh!...You are obviously not in tune with the reality of this car---we all would like to think your way---maybe KIRK would like to see his OEM MM ('60's model)with your thoughts and think he should expect to get that kind of money--as its one of a kind so to speak---think not!!-oh well,-- Its nice to believe --but when you wake up from your dreams and come back and talk to us with some kindness and realism knowing we all come from different levels of skills, intelligence and positions regarding life and cars--you may actually get what you wanted in thoughts for such a car at this time ---(you actually may be one of these folks--but your not showing it currently)--, however, to place yourself on top with an attitude of such without no one evening knowing you--without earning it here will get what you have read thus far...I'd suggest you step back and be a bit more thankful for the comment you have reeked than not...
If not , then it more obvious you will not succeed here and your best move then is to move on..............

You posted your 'add' to get feedback and that's what you got.
First off Mr. Grammar Police, it's "ad," not "add". An "add" is not a noun and refers to "addition" which means combined to form a sum. An "ad" is a noun, is short for advertisement, and is the proper word for your sentence. Otherwise, your sentece has major fail. An "ad" is what the OP posted.
Second, this is a for sale section, not a "feedback" or "discussion" section, unless the basic rules and formats for this forum don't apply. He did not post here to get "feedback.". If he wanted feedback, he would have posted in the multiple discussion sections that form part of this forum.
So, when a 'new guy' comes on here and posts up a bunch of garbage, yeah, it gets my BP up.
Is that 'nice' enough for you?
Again, I fail to see where he instigated or initiated anything to deserve this response, in particular, or some of the responses in this thread. Also, is this place a pack mentality where you gang up on a "new guy?"
I come to this forum to enjoy my marauder, see and appreciate the enjoyment other owners have for theirs, and to share experiences. Reading posts like yours in this thread "gets my BP up."

Personally I hope he gets his asking price, but being realistic, he is using the sticker price plus mods for a ten year old car.
I'm not buying a ten year old car priced as brand new plus all the costs in the mods, and the end of the day, it's still a used car.
Evidentially selling isn't a necessity, but if you want the car to sell, I suggest not pricing it as if it just rolled off the line. You might have people interested in it, but I doubt it will sell at that price.
I wish you luck though

First off Mr. Grammar Police, it's "ad," not "add". An "add" is not a noun and refers to "addition" which means combined to form a sum. An "ad" is a noun, is short for advertisement, and is the proper word for your sentence. Otherwise, your sentece has major fail. An "ad" is what the OP posted.
Second, this is a for sale section, not a "feedback" or "discussion" section, unless the basic rules and formats for this forum don't apply. He did not post here to get "feedback.". If he wanted feedback, he would have posted in the multiple discussion sections that form part of this forum.
Either you have not read the entire thread, don't comprehend what's going on here, or failed to notice that I am not the only one who has commented on OP's listing.
You berate me for 'attacking', yet it is perfectly acceptable for you to do this. You do not need to give me an English lesson....my 'add' was a play on his use of 'add'...again, if you would have read the entire thread, you may have noticed this.
Thanks for your 'feedback' and 'discussion' on this for sale thread. I realize this has gotten to a point where it's no longer beneficial. I will respectfully stop posting in this thread. If you wish to continue discussing outside of this thread, please feel free to PM me.

I guess you didn't notice the quotation marks or you don't know what they mean

Actually, the I never saw any quotation marks. If you are referring to '...' marks, those are apostrophes; not quotation marks. You do know what an apostrophe is, don't you?
A quotation mark is "....". If the grammar police, when "calling out" (please take note of quotation marks and not an apostrophe) the OP for his poor use of the English language, actually used proper English, it never would have been an issue.
My point, which you two donkeys failed to comprehend, was that you better use proper english and grammar if are going to call someone out for using poor english.

LOL. I actually read this thread 4 times before posting anything. Further, I'm (please take note of the apostrophe....not the quotation mark) not all that concerned about about my reading comprehension abilities. As a matter of fact, neither are any of my clients who pay me over $500/hr for my reading comprehension, logic and analytical abilities, and annually continue to do so. The reason you got singled out, rather than anyone else whose "opinions" were posted, is because you routinely went after the OP even after very respected members of this forum asked that we be respectful. Actually, your response regarding being singled out completely validates my "mob mentality" comment (please note proper use of quotation marks).
I never would have raised anything grammar related until YOU felt the need to ATTACK the OP for his grammar use. Forums are cesspools for bad grammar that I generally ignore. But when someone "calls" out another person for an issue but is actually perpetuating the issue themselves (like you did), I have a problem.
Eff sending PMs, boy. This needs to be a public discussion. Please join me for a public discussion of this topic, as well as this "mob mentality," in a thread in the community discussion forum. I will start a thread there. Feel free to attack me, or what I stand for, there. I'm a big boy and can handle criticism. I hope you, as well as others, join me in that thread.

Geez guys, talking about derailing a thread.
Whether you agree with the price or not, this started as a one man's post of an extremely low mile MM.
Romper Room needs it's own forum here.
OP I would start a new thread and see if the mods could make this one go away.

Good Lord people!
This is one of the worse cases of derailment and trashing a for sale thread I have seen to date.
To the OP..
GLWS!
