Hi all, I am about to start the install of my Trilogy in the next few weeks. I have been going over a bunch of old treads and have made a list of additional mods/parts/recommendations that many S/C owners recommend. If I missed any please chime in.
Things I plan to get:
- 90mm MAF (do I get one from a Lightning?)
- Upgrade fuel pump (Focus SVT or GT pump)
- Metco crank pulley hub w/ +4lb ring 8.60" (thats not too much is it?...safty wise)
- Screw down style block for alternator splice
- new O-rings for crossover tube & H2O inlet adapter
- custom tune (local speed shop)
What do ya think?
Oh, and I already have these mods:
- JLT CAI
- 4:10 gears
- SCT Lidio tune
:burnout:

Lets see i got an sct ba-3000 maf, a walbro 400lph fuel pump, a 3.0 upper pulley and the metco 4lb lower ring/hub.
Ill use some 60lb injectors if i use the trilogy with a posi port, 80lbs if i go whipple 2.9, but hell im still waiting on my trilogy kit.

Sounds like you have been doing your homework. I would skip on the 4# ring unless you plan to use the ugly steel 3.4 upper that comes with the T kit. I made 445/431 a few years ago with only a 3.2 pulley, Lightning MAF, Conical filter with OEM zipe tube, and a MAFia. Only exhaust back then was mufflers, and that don't count.

I guess I was thinking to keep the upper that came with it, but hadn't really explored changing it yet... What would be a good upper alternative, or upper lower combo? I would like to break the 400hp barrier... How much boost can I safely run?

You should break the 400RWHP barrier now with the setup you posted!

Just a tune alone will break 400. I would talk to your tuner and explain your goals and let him guide you. Some tune around MAF's, some don't. Boost isn't everything. I am back down to 9.7#s and with my mods I currently am hitting 466. I have seen some cars with 13#s only make 420. I would talk to your local tuner before ordering anything. The fuel pump is also a waste. My stock pump handled 445 for over a year. Keep in mind it was also 8 years old LOL. Currently I only run a single Walbro GSS342 and my BAP. That has carried me for the last two years at more power.

Well the more I look into pulleys the more I think i like the BilletFlow 3.1" upper with stock size lower (would like to get the metco quick change yet but $$ dependent). This should keep me in reasonable boost and look nice too :coolman:. (its always go before show...but somebody needs to help Doom carry around all them trophies!)
The worst part about changing the upper is buying the puller at $180...anybody know of any good, cheaper alternatives..or i guess I could always just rent it out.

The Trilogy kit comes with o-rings for the cross-over tube. Definitely get new o-rings for the water inlet pipe that runs in the valley.
This is also a good time to install a rear cylinder cooling mod and water pump while they are easily accessible.

Your choices for Trilogy pulleys from Billetflow are 3.2, 3.0, and 2.8. You must state Trilogy when ordering as they are different. They do not offer a quick change for this blower. The snout is different than an Eaton. Good news is, you do not need a puller for Trilogy's. WIN.
Couple light taps and she slides right off.

I'm having trouble finding the o-rings for the inlet pipe, where did youo get them?
The cooling mod is a good idea, It's on the list now!

Pulley slides right on, torque down the nut. Call Jerry for the spec, I can't recall.
As for Orings, I only use Ford. The number is listed in the T manual.
