upholstery shop in Maine?

I am having a very hard time finding a very good upholstery shop that is reasonable ($1200-$1800 for inserts is not reasonable). Has anyone had excellent results with anyone in or near Maine ?
I want to have the seat inserts on my Mercury redone. The seats are leather however I may have to go vinyl. Thanks

the covers were still available from ford, and they dont cost that much i bought a set about 6 month ago for the front, just to be safe. ( i had a 89 supercoupe, and the seat covers are imposible to get.dont want to have that happen wiith this car.)another option is to find a complete seat. there are a lot out there for sale.you should be able to find them for alot less.

While it may not be reasonable, it is reality. I just had a set of inserts done for the front/rear on a set of MM seats, $1600 was the #, that also included some embroidery work.

I wouldn't have trashed a set of nice seats, the set I had my way with had been modified prior to my getting them, I know the material is available to make them back to OEM, minus the godshead in the upper insert.

The bottom line is $$$$.
