Can't keep my foot off the pedal

Picked the car up from lidio last week (the supercharged motor from ebay) and mileage sucks :)
Going to have to start looking for tires soon. Will the cost of tires keep my foot off the pedal? Oh and how come every time I see a cop I want to race?
