I went on a trip to LA this weekend for some college interviews and I now realize what this car is all about. It really is an Interceptor. My average speed down there was about 90 with a one romp to 130 and a few to 110 and this car is MORE stable at high speeds than at city street speed. Truly awsome. I also noticed that when above 70 you need only gently press in the throttle to get acceleration, flooring it at high speeds only sends you to red line with so so acceleration. Also I never get any d-shaft vibration. cool. :rasta:

Ain't it cool?

Yeah, I averaged 92 mph from Atlanta to just north of Knoxville. The car was rock steady. Drivign that fast was less work than many other cars are at 70. Long distance driving still brings a smile to my face.

Doing 130 mph and holding tight ,thats good to hear. The other day I was crusing on the high way at about 105 mph and my rpm's were at 3400 , I was wondering what the top end of these cars with a stage 1 kit with 410's would be. Any ideas?

I have a bonafide 139 MPH recorded in my ECM, and if L/M is going to hold my mods over my warrantee head, you bet I'm taking all the blame!

Sign up for our Kenny Brown Driving School on July 30, 2004 at IRP, and you'll get all the proof one could ask for, about your MM performance. Top speed, extended top speed, cornering, braking, twisties, power slides, drifts, what ever. All the neat driving stuff you day dream about while driving OTR, you'll be changing your driving gloves like underwear. All you're going to have to worry about after this experience, is where and when you'll get a shot at doing it all again.

Snooze, you lose.

I wish there was a driving school like that close to me. Now that I have a car that really performs, I'd like to have some advanced skills to go with it. Even driving an old beater or a rent car, having special skills might just save a life in an emergency someday.
