I just installed Sylvania Silverstar 9007 headlights, turn signals and H-1 fog lights. All of them look great with the exception of the fogs, which look quite green when compared to the crisp & clear headlights. I really expected them to match, but they look kinda odd. Has anyone else, who has performed this mod, noticed this?

Mine are a BRIGHT white...no green at all. In fact, when I was in FLA last week...I had several "blue-hairs" flashing at me like I had my brights on.

Green ehh...I like green. Wish I had known. I went with Zenon throughout and ended up with purple!

You know, I see turn signals like that all the time on 2 fast 2 furious wanna-be cars. I never actually notice them until they're too close. Can't see the signal for anything:shake:

Let me clarify. It's the fog lights I'm talking about. The turn signals look fine. The headlights are a bright, clean, crisp white color, but the fog lights have a clean, crisp greenish tint to them in contrast to the headlights. I really thought the 9007 Silverstars would match the H-1 Silverstars. But they don't. Or at least mine don't.

I knew you were talking about the H-1s...mine are a bright white...no green. Now...are you sure you used the SilverStar H-1s....'cause Sylvania makes a "regular" (non-Silverstar) H-1...
Just ask Marty...he's got a virtual garage-full of Sylvania bulbs right now

I have all Silverstars up front and the H1s are bright white.
Maybe someone took the white ones out of the packages you bought and left green behind.

My H1s are white but not quite AS white as the 9007s. Still a lot closer than the stock ones, as I changed mine in stages instead of all at once. Did you use Sylvania Silverstar H1 bulbs, Sylvania H1 bulbs, or Osram Silverstar H1 bulbs? As far as I know Sylvania does not offer a Silverstar H1 (at least they didn't when I got mine about a year ago) but Osram, the European sister (parent?) company of Sylvania does.

They actually DO have "SilverStar H-1"s...but that ^^^ is what I was saying...they (Sylvania/Osram) makes OTHER H-1 bulbs that will fit/work, but they're not SilverStars.

Well, I reckon I jist learnt sumpthin'. Sylvania Silverstar H1s didn't exist a year ago, so I had to get the Osram's. But neither did MM supercharger kits, turbo kits, headers, tranny upgrade kits, etc.

Well, ya'll got me second-guessing myself, so I just went and checked the packages. Yes, they are definitely all Sylvania Silver bulbs. The part number for the H1's shows it to be "H1 ST". Here is a picture of the packages.

Those are the ones you want. Call Sylvania and tell them what is going on. They may send you some replacements. Ask me how I know....

Let's just say that over the last few weeks, I have been there and done that. They had a little trouble getting my parts order correct. But, like they say, the fourth time is the charm and they should finally get me all of the bulbs I ordered {unbroken}.
