I'm about 2/3 done collecting all the eaton swap parts now and considering how to mod the exhaust to compliment the blower addition.

I see most people just install the Stainless Works headers and upgrade their stock midpipe and mufflers. Then, run the rest of the exhaust using the stock 2.25" pipe.

With an eaton swap done, what gains would one miss out on with that approach vs. the whole Stainless Works kit which would basically be the same up to the mufflers. Except after the mufflers, with the entire exhaust from SW, you would have 2.5" pipe.

Also other considerations to getting the full exhaust kit: You would have an all stainless and mandrel bent exhaust, which you could also install yourself. (I believe the kit is clamped together).

Any thoughts either way?

Tried searching, but cannot find any videos or threads of anyone with a full Stainless Works exhaust setup on their Marauder.

I've got the full stainless works setup on my car, Seems kinda loud for my taste. Quality is awsome I also have an early system When i redo my exhaust i'm going 2.5 from the headers back. Right now it's 3 in and 2.5 over the axles.

You never truly know how RESTRICTED our exhaust is till u take the manifolds off. Man those things are restricted as TIHS!!! Then 2.25 piping, open it up would be a good thing.

On an eaton swap, after doing the SW headers and replacing the midpipe with a 2.5", what would be the gain of replacing the pipes from the mufflers back? (From stock 2.25 to 2.5) vs. leaving the pipes 2.25 and changing only the headers to the mufflers?

A more free flowing exhaust is what you get. Probably a difference in sound as well. You may pick up a couple HP but it comes down to a cost benefit anaylsis. However, your biggest gains are going to be from the headers on a blown application unless those headers are going into a 1 inch collector. Lol

Our stock exhaust system can handle up to apx 430 hp. Changing the exhaust out to SW Headers along with high flow 2.5"cats & mid pipe to muffler is all you need because from mufflers to tail pipe are true 2.5". Your gain will be apx 15 hp.& with s/c 50 hp. I added a mid muffler to bring the db down & elimate any drown. Don't forget the tune to adjust A/F ratio.

I have a full system including 3" over the axles... not an easy as pie fit but works great.... I run 20+ psi of boost though last dyno was 630+rwhp & that was w/ the t-trim & now I have the JT-trim installed so even more CFM & boost etc...
