Excellent weather and a great turnout for the 8th Annual Bert's 50s Diner CAM Meet. I can't believe that we have been meeting here for 8 years. Wow!! As always, Bernie and I had a great time out with friends and enjoying the afternoon. Many Thanks for the Dash Plaques, Shaun ...... AND the ice cream. :D

This Studebaker "Hawk" pulled into the parking lot about 10 minutes before most of us left. There was a big car show in Leonardtown, MD and many of the cars passed by as we were milling around in the lot.

I didn't see DOOM's departure .... it was obscured by smoke when I came out of the building. But I did smell the lingering odor of burnt rubber.

I should have stayed in the open instead of moving by the trees. Got home and detailed the car (again). Sap came right off, probably helped that I waxed it last night.

That is always one of the good parts of a meet. Listening to the cars when they leave. I love it too. I wish I could have stayed to listen to and see all of them leave.

My exhaust consists of the following:

Stock manifolds, full 2.5" duals with 2.5" H-Pipe, (2) one chamber flowmasters, and 3.5" tips.

I'm getting ready to install my headers along with my heads/cams/etc...in a few weeks. I would imagine it will be a little louder then... ;)

Another great day of awesome cars and great friends! Glad everyone had a good time. Berts is my excuse to have an ice cream sundae once a year ;) I had some tree sap too but only on the windshield.
