I seen to remember some ones wheels being ripped off about a month ago.
This seller seems to deal in factory wheels and antiqu coins. Could they be hot?

detroitwheelsandtire is a registered domain name, but there is no website up for it. Also, unknown whether these are the owners of the domain name.
They seem to offer mostly factory wheels, and most of them with tires attached. May be kosher, but I can see how this could be suspicious.
Order a set of wheels for your 2002 Kia, and they go out and get you a set...

Funny you should mention (possibly) stolen goods being sold on eBay.
Last week a story broke here about an organized theft ring at Pearson (Toronto) International Airport. Apprently they'd been stealing cargo for several years, sometimes on a 'theft-to-order' basis.

Value of the goods goes into the millions of dollars. And guess what? Some of it had been sold later on eBay. One of our suppliers who sells us steel plate lifting clamps had a UPS shipment go 'missing' and he later saw the actual clamp he shipped for sale there!
I know many here like to use it, but it sure has made it easier for thieves to ply their trade. :down:eBay:down:

Being from this city I can say that Detroit Wheel and Tire has been around for a while. I don't know exactly how their business is run, I do know that they have been here for a while.

I just remembered an APB in December on stolen MM wheels, but it seems like that member was from NYC.
Also a few months back (November or December) we had a theft ring broken up in Olympia that used ebay exclusivly to fence the goods. They had been operating for about 3 or 4 years. They had a shop set up and had told neibors they were thinking of expanding their facilities. :shake:
