That engine is bitchen. You are going to make so much power it won't even be funny.
I love the value covers and the coil covers.
Are you planning a whipple or what?
I am subscribing to this build. I hope for a video of hearing it run and seeing it in
the car.
Best of luck on your project.

Good Luck with the build.
The most critical part to develop consistant power is the drive system for the S/C. Off by one washer on one pullley is all it takes to throw off the system.
Use OEM or Vortech or Procharger pulleys when you can.
I just replaced a Vortech pulley with a Procharger that had to be machined. The Procharger had 2 bearings vs the Vortech which had one bearing.

Speaking of pulleys ive converted to an 8 rib setup using motorcraft pulleys ive got the alternator, power steering, a/c clucth pulley, and an 8 rib innovators west balancer, all thats left are the two idler pulleys, i got the pulleys from rock auto.

Where grinding was done exactly per the instructions. It made the grinded area porous enough to have an oil leak. Innovator says that occasionally happens.
I wish they would have noted that in the instructions, would have saved a lot of time and frustration.
I suggest you seal up any areas that are ground.

Actually yes! i talked to james at weldcraft and his fab/tech guy Chris gave me two options :weld together some tubing, or take measurements, and have a local aircraft supplier custom make a set of mandrel bent seemless aircrat tubing!:banana2:
Im leaning towards the last option!
Ill be droping my car off soon so they can get the intercooler mounts fabed up, and mounted so things are slowly moving along, i also got notice from Tony at superchargers online that my s/c mounting bracket assembly shipped today.
My circle D T/C will be here thursday so im just about ready to do the motor swap, the hogan intake will be the hold out part at 7-10 weeks to fabricate:bigcry:

Unless they have come out with a new model the S/C bracket will need to be spaced off the Timing Cover. Some 8 rib kits do and some don't.

Well overall the build is fairly simple, a 10.1 aluminator, vortech V7 YSI, hogans sheetmetal intake, precision 825 hp air to air intercooler, circle d 3,000 stall converter, a full return fuel system, 80lb injectors, twin walbro 400lph fuel pumps, dual modified fpdm's, accufab single blade t/b, innovators west 15% OD (7.5") balancer, 8 rib pulley conversion, and a whole bunch of supporting mods!
Ok maybe its not so simple! as for money spent wayyyy to much:bigcry:

I have the single bolt, you are probably going to have to space the S/C or did you buy an 8 rib S/C bracket???
Check with LJ on 24". His 8 rib had to be spaced off the TC like mine, they tried and that was the only way they could get it to fit.

It would have to be fabricated, i have no plans for one
Yeah, after thinking about it. The heat shield would probably have a stove affect/effect. Especially sitting in traffic.

Well mangs today my Hogans Racing sheet metal intake shows up via ups and the delivery guy is grinning ear to ear saying somebody got some mail order ponies!
Im geeked! And excited as all get up I open the box and dig it out of a ton of shredded paper hot Dayuum this thing is sweet!
I give it the once over and I quickly realize my mounting flanges don't look quite right, so I grab an intake gasket to match it up, and sure enough it's a Friggin TWO valve intake!
At this point I am livid! 7 months for this sh$! so I call Tim Hogan and try not to curse as I explained my self, he says I thought Marauders were two valve deals?
I explain to him that they came 4valved from the factory!
So after much use of 4 letter words to describe my frustration Tim was a gentleman and a stand up guy about the whole thing and said he can have another one ready in about two weeks.
Shat happens I guess!

Lol no he said when he ships out my new one UPS will pick up the 2vavle intake, I wrapped it back in its packaging and put away until they pick it up.
I wouldn't have any use for it anyway as I don't have any 2 valve builds

I installed my xover delete kit and modified the lower radiator hose, on the xover kit I used a 90* and a 45* fitting to clear the S/C , on the thermostat housing I went with 45* fittings and braided -10 lines this kit really cleans up the front of the engine

Here is my lower radiator hose modified to work with the xover delete kit, i used a 3/4
' to 1/2"(homedepot) reducer to connect the overflow tank, and a 70* 1.5" aluminum elbow(treadstone) to replace the thermostat housing ,100% less clutter in front of the engine!

Are you going to run a bypass or a blow off?
If Bypass then connected pre supercharger to Post intercooler...
I run that way... w/ upsized cooling it works great.

Hmmm interesting decision to make on color choice.
First thought would be chrome to match intake runners. Maybe gloss black for accent.

I think those are nicest welds I've ever seen! Nice too that MMR has a rear head cooling kit for our heads. I think you need a new alternator, or at least take a brillo pad to it...

I just read your entire thread here. Very nice. I see you had some ups and downs which goes with any build. But I think your approach will yield you very good results. I hope the final stretch is less stressful for you, but we both know it wont be. Just remember, when its done, it will be SOOOO WORTH IT.
