After years of wanting one I finally have one to call my own. Got it from a guy who has 9 panther cars, three of which were marauders. I bought his 03 black on black with 55000 miles on it. Shes had some paint work before but I'm in love! Its so surreal right now. I cant wait for the many road trips that are in store for this beast. Its bone stock and I would like to keep relatively stock with the normal mods like, chin spoiler, rear spoiler, mmmaybe a cold air, mmmaybe a mid pipe and mufflers, and mmmaybe lower it. I just dont want to sacrifice ride quality since it will be my daily driver. I did notice that the rear wheels have been widened so I want to replace the now narrow looking rear tires with 275-295s? I cant wait to get this thing reg'd up so I can drive her! I'm ecstatic! I've never been this excited about buying a car!!! I'd love some suggestions from anyone!

That's awesome man, congratulations!!! Best of luck with it!
You mentioned that the rear wheels had been widened(?). The Marauder wheels are wider in the back from the factory. Rims are all the same size but tires are different...235/50-18 front, 245/55-18 rear. No normal tire rotations for these puppies!

I thought it had narrower tires on the back cause they looked kinda stretched but you can see the 1.5 inch band that was welded in. I may be a new owner but I've been drooling and researching these cars for the last seven years. The planets aligned just right and the time was perfect for me to buy this one. I didn't even tell anyone I was getting it til yesterday cause I didn't want to jinx myself. All this is thanks to my girlfriend for finding it for me! That red cv had a vorteched marauder motor in it.

I figured you already knew the difference in tire size but I don't like to assume stuff. When I got my MM, I "assumed" the oil pressure gauge was real...cost me over $3k.
Sounds like you got a set of widened rims there. Do a search for tire possibilities with those suckers. Nice score!!

Welcome aboard. Enjoy the site and your new ride.
BTW, I'm one of the few here who ride on 295/45-18 tires on non-widened wheels.

Congratulations! Mr. Man said he enjoyed meeting you Thursday at the cruise night. Nice to have another Marauder show up! Once in a while we coax Bigdogjim and another friend with a DTR to come. Hope to see you!

Congrats-- on your purchase--
You should run at least the 275/45/18 --But the 295's are best for that rim size---
My 295's last Aug cost me $236 each ---and they were the NITTO brand--
Good luck
Did you buy it from Barry's stable ?
