Just curious as I know others are gonna ask..Why would you want to spend money to pay to have someone else paint your calipers? Are you not able to do this yourself? They sell caliper paint at autozone, pepboys etc..

If you don't have a floor jack and a few basic tools then I might understand, but maybe some of your friends have. This is really considered a DIY project.

Why not do it yourself?

For the price you'd pay for labor, buy a jack and some stands and even a socket set. Then go for it!

DIY always makes you feel better when it's all done. For less than $40 in materials, you can do it yourself..do one at a time if needed or do the frontend one week and the rear the next. I can only imagine some shop wanting to do it and then saying that'll be 4 hours labor, prep, paint etc..ok sir, that comes to $250.00 plus tax and shop supplies....

IMO to do it right, you need to remove the caliper from the rotor, clean it up with brake clean and a wire brush and paint it. The caliper will still be attached to the car with brake line. If you are careful and mask off the rotor, one could technically still do it while attached to the rotor but results will be less, but it would spruce it up some nonetheless
