Just bringing this thread back to the top! CLick on the links to see what the events are. One of my favorites is Roscoe's Cruise. It is a good time and a low key event. We are invited to attend and hang out with the local car guys. You will see some pretty cool cars and have a great potluck meal at this one. Plus you get to go on a cruise thru the countryside with the local guys. Expect to see a couple of early Boss Mustangs and an original Ford of Canada drag car! The boys around here do like there Fords!

Don't be suprised if the Greek God shows up with Mad Max! You might want to search this site for threads on this Crown Vic! It has a 5.4 Lightning motor with a Super Charger sticking out of the hood!!! Even more exciting is Dale the Greek God who owns!!!!!:D Seeing is believing!

Steve Babcock and Jerry Barnes will be speaking to the group and answering questions. It should be very informative. Steve loves to tell stories and we sure have lots of questions. Just just heard this morning that Kenny Brown has a prior commitment at Autobahn and is very disappointed he won't be able to spend some time with us.

John, is there a self services car wash near the hotel?

Yes there are a few within a mile - one around two blocks away. Careful the one at the Villager uses pink soap that will stain everything but your car

Good to know. Thanks Steven!

Russ and I will have our Croftgate stuff with us if you want to really clean and shine your car, Chris. :)

Yep I'll have mine too.

Looks like the car wash question was answered.

Tall ship schedule is being figured out. We are waiting on the museum for the times.

Doomie on the media we still use 2 tin cans and a string around here!

If she wants to wash the car at midnight that is fine with me. I will either be drunk or passed out.

2 miles from hotel

Village Mart on corner of Lagrange & Aylworth We have a winner!
Very nice complex and clean.
3 self wash bays with wax, clearcoat protectant & spot free rinse options.
Go west on Phoenix, turn left on Lagrange. When you hit the stop light at Aylworth it is there.

Turn left at light and right at 1st street and you will be right by the wash bays.
