Well I sent my xcal3 to Lidio,(I bought it from him) so he can add the user function..Apparently,you have to ask for it when ordering....I'm waiting for it to come back to me..He had it for 2 days, lowered the 1-2 shift point and added the user function...My question is,do I have to return the tune to stock before I can load the new tune or do I just program the car exactly like I did the first time???bugsy.....Once I get it back, should be in a day or two,I'll let you all know how it worked out..Lidio was very easy to work with and did not charge me.I paid the shipping both ways..Great guy,I only wish I lived closer to his shop..

I'd call Lidio with your questions.

No you don't have to return it to stock before loading another tune. It will just replace the current tune on it with whatever new one you have on the Xcal3. My car hasn't seen the stock tune since early 2006 and I've loaded up and changed tunes dozens of times with no problems.

Also once you load the tune up, if you need to go back and change something in the user end options (modify optional params) it's the same process basically, it will just overwrite the current file.
