I'd like it to be sooner, Most Irishmen are raised to "beware of the Ides of March." But, I'll make any meet y'all setup. Let all try to call out to others who have drifted. There is a lot of 411 to discuss for the 2004 season, and we need to catch up. 2004 is going to be one fantastic year for a Marauder owner.

BTW...No way I'm driving to Florida for chicken. Not one person in Florida knows how to fry chicken. Nor do any of them know jack about bacon double cheesburgers. Been there, ate that, 'nuff said.

Yeah, you're a moron alright. A real dufus, for listing your home town as "NW Indiana."

I could not pull up any map searches to save my life. You got any idea how much map space "NW Indiana" covers?

It's okay though, I've read some of your other posts, and I think you're right on the border, yes? I visit Munster often, we may have waved at each other, at least I did.

Anyway...What you need to do, rookie, is get your MM on the "I-80 Westbound" while you're still in Indiana.

Once you're in Illinois, watch for signs leading to "I-294-Wisconsin" and take this road. Just stay in your extreme left lane, you can't miss.

The I-294 is a toll road, but it will take you to the "I-55" interchange. You want the "south bound" exit, the second exit you'll see (unless you're on the left side of a semi).

Once you're on I-55 and southbound, watch for the "Route 83" interchange. It will ride up on you fast, it's the next exit past the "Kingery exits." Take the "Northbound 83" exit, the first you will see.

At the bottom of the ramp, merge on to Rt. 83 and drive to the next traffic light you see. Turn right at this light, and turn hard too my man, this is a frontage road that will pass by a Denny's and two major hotels, Holiday Inn Express and Fairfield Inns, I think. Follow this road past them, you'll make a hard banked left, and come to rest at a stop sign.

Now...Look straight ahead. You will see DelRea's Chicken Basket, and probably most of us standing right in front of you, if you're on time. Cross over to us with reverance. You are crossing over genuine "Route 66" pavement.

After lunch, we'll show you how to "sign" our genuine pavement.

If you get twisted up somewhere in my directions, give me a call at 312.401.1396. I'll be at Del Rea's waiting to greet you, or, help you through my disletic directions.

If you wish to do a map search thing of your own, your target is "645 Joliet Road, Willowbrook, IL. 60527."

The date is Sunday, March 14th, @ 2 PM.

Everyone...Y'all be here, we got stuff to talk about. 2004 is going to be a kick azz MM year.

BTW rookie, the bacondoublecheesburger here is primo, best you'll ever taste. Trust me...

I have a half lab half Husky and he has all the energy of a lab puppy and is the most vocal dog I have ever owned. Note to self: when contemplating a Husky please remember all the sled races in all the movies you have ever seen and notice that even even when pulling a sled the dang things never shutup.

Hey everyone,

Here's a question to throw out. I am able to get a trade for part of my shift next Sunday, but he can't come in until 4:00 P.M. I was wondering if we could move the dinner back until 5:00? If this is a possibility I'll be able to make the meet. If not, no biggie, I'll hopefully be able to make the next one. I talked to Gary (Mad Man) at the toy show at the DuPage Fair Grounds last Sunday and he was saying that this will be an important meet because of Indy coming up in July/August. Let me know. Thanks for the concideration,

I may go out tomorrow and do a few test rides and see where I can get the best deal. One place over the internet offered me 3,500 dealer discount plus 2,500 factory discount. Sounds like they are willing to deal. Any hints.

I have to say I had a blast today. I was glad to finally meet some you guys for the very first time. You are all top shelf in my opinion and made me feel right at home at my first Chicken Meet. My heart is still in my throught after riding in Zacks and Mac's Marauders. Those rides were worth the trip to Dell Rea's. ditto what UAW said!

Was nice to meet you guys and special thanks for showing me the speed controlled volume feature on the radio. Zack's car is the ****znik! Holy Moley it's a fast one, made me feel like I was driving home in a 4cylinder Marauder. The new control arms are the real deal and there is no comparison to the factory stampings. Got to see some different bumper inserts too though I'm still not sure if I'm going to install the SS ones that I have. Mac's widened rims were awesome also and my first dtr mm sighting oooooooh wish I could afford 2 MMs.
Now if someone could figure out how to make all the windows roll up when you lock the car...................

BTW Elgin is probably more than 90 minutes away for me.
