Wouldn't be my first color choice but it doesn't look bad and it is unique without being over the top.

Nice job!

I like the yellow inserts on your black car. Black calipers should look good. The yellow ones are more unusual. You did a nice job!

It's different, nice job. I am going with silver since my wheels are matte black.

That should look good! Be sure to post some pics, Chris. It's rained here all day so I couldn't take pics of my new purple calipers. Hopefully tomorrow...

I don't know I'm kinda diggin' the yellow calipers. Try living with them for a bit and see what you think a month from now before you think about repainting them.

Did you take your caliper off completely?

I like it. It's different than the rest of the red's, blue's and silver calipers out there. I think it adds your own personal touch to your MM. I say rock it out brother.:banana2:

Has that kind-of BumbleBee effect. Cool.

I agree - A nice change.

Also, a great idea on how to paint the calipers on the car!

I may have to give this a shot - Add it to the mod list.

Which would you guys say is faster??? Spray painting the calipers or hand painting them?? Im looking to do this mood early Saturday morning which route should I take?

Mr. Man

Spray painting is easier and faster but if you leave the calipers on the car you need to tape off the area's you don't want sprayed. How obsessive you are about not getting overspray is what will take time.

I believe you can get better results by taking the calipers off and thoroughly sanding them down. Then spray or hand paint. Spray paints don't come in as many colors so depending on your color choice you may need to paint by hand regardless.

Post pics when your done.:)

spray painting was easier for me and it was my first time ever doing it but one thing i can say is make sure you tape off the rotors very well

Unless you are using a paint made for brake calipers you'll not like how long it lasts. I'd take off the calipers and mounting bracket and hand paint them with brake caliper paint.
