Hey Everyone,

So I posted a thread a while back about what I though was my mirror making a clicking noise. Well after more investigation today I found that the noise is actually coming from my blend door area....argh!

So last winter my blend door actuator went out, and I ordered a replacement (maybe depo?). When it went out that time the air stopped blowing hot at all and just cold, so I replaced it in the winter...when I needed heat.

I have been using it with no issues until this last week. My fan speed, temp controls, and vent modes (vent/AC/defrost/floor, etc) all work fine. However I have this loud clicking that is becoming more frequent coming from behind the passenger side of dash. So today I attempted a self test...and it won't complete. The self test starts, and does the flashing little light on display, makes the loud clicking noise, then all of the screen lights up, then makes the clicking noise again, then stays that way... I let it sit that way for atleast 3 minutes solid and nothing, it just stays lit up, no code, etc. So I exited the test. Tried it twice, same thing.

I can't believe the actuator would be going out again, and with no problems with temp control etc it seems to be just making the noise... however the noise went from just when I started for about 3-4 seconds, to now every time the temp changes when in AUTO.

Is this in fact the actuator going out AGAIN?

Ya, I would like to know also. Red is stuck on low leg heat. Was clicking and opening and closing then stayed open.
