Does anyone have any referrals for a tranny shop in Westchester, NY ??

My 04 Marauder 4R75W has been serviced every 30,000 miles. I've got 125k miles on it now.
After this last service, I've begun to notice what I think
is line pressure loss when the tranny is hot.
When the tranny is cold, everything engages and shifts normally.
Nothing is slipping yet and I don't want to drive it and burn things up.

I'd like to have someone look at it and diagnose it for me.
I think it only needs a new valve body but
I think and expert will tell me what's best for my mileage.

Good luck finding somebody who will fix a transmission, 99% of shops will just want to throw in a rebuild.

Somebody has to rebuild the one that comes out of the car in order for them to have a rebuild on hand. :rolleyes:
If they want to make money, they'll take the job.
Otherwise I'll keep looking until I find the best shop.
I'm not in any hurry. I have another car to drive.

Did you find someone? My bro-in law is a former Ford Master Mechanic and does some side work. He might not be up for this task but might know someone who is. He is in Somers.

I haven't made a move on this yet.
I'm in the process of budgeting this repair
and clearing out my basement of things I can sell.

I have a pretty large HOT WHEELS collection and I will be
introducing what I have to Ebay.
