What a beautiful day for a road trip and a cruise up to Gettysburg to meet up with friends for the afternoon. As always, we had fun and it was a great trip. 202 miles round trip for me. The Taurus SHO got 29-30 MPG on her first distance trip on the highways. I have been averaging 18.6 MPG in heavy stop and go city traffic.

Thanks again, Bob. :up: Was able to make a stop at the Adam's County Winery store before the meet and pick up a few bottles of Rebel Red and their cherry wine.

No problems coming up Route 15 past Thurmont, MD; but the law enforcement folks were EVERYWHERE. Security for Camp David must have been very tight.

Had a pretty good turnout with 3 Black MM, 1 Silver MM, 1 Mustang GT-CS, 1 Taurus SHO and a Harley Davidson.

If you look just left and low of center on this pic you will see 3 small blips. This looked to be the President's helicopter and 2 escort choppers headed to Camp David (probably for a return trip for the POTUS) back to DC. Would have gotten a better pic but my operator was having trouble with the zoom feature. ;)
