I came home from work last night and the roads were dry and the snow was frozen. It was 11:30pm and it was sitting in the garage. I hadn't driven it for over a month. I went in dropped off the keys to the PT and grabbed the keys to the MM. I started it and the V8 came to life. The sound thru the Flowmasters was like a beautiful song. I pulled it out and hit the road. First up was I 275 south. I ran it easy for about the first ten miles. I made a loop back around and headed north. This is when I started to let her run. I took it around to I 696 and headed east. Didn't go far because it was late. I Came off at Orchard Lake Rd and headed back west. As I was merging on the hwy and an Oldsmobile Alero would not let me in. I stomped on it and man all I saw was headlights getting smaller in my rearview mirror. I looked down and I was at 110mph. These cars love cold weather. Anyway, I came home and tucked her back away. Snow is in the forcast again over the next week. It was nice going out and getting a fix. I can't wait for spring.

I second that emotion.

Couldn't stand that my beast has been caged for the last six weeks, so I took him on a trip upstate yesterday on the Taconic State Parkway. Boy it felt good when I got behind the wheel. When I got home, he got a full bath and now's he back to sleep in the garage!

I need spring and I need it bad!

I feel for you guys up north. We, down here in Atlanta, get to drive when ever we want. We all know the feeling and would be having major withdrawal if it happened to snow down here. Last snow was March 30, 1993. We got 6-8" and the Metro area was paralyzed for four days. Yea,Yea,Yea it's the displaced yankees that cause all the problems.

Darryl,
The snowflakes forecasted for this coming weekend will be just little ones.
I suggest you go for another "fix" and call it a...Valentine Run ???
I'm sure Dave will second that emotion !

I'd like to get mine out but I look at all of that salt dust on the concrete and change my mind. Although when it gets warmer I can see the marks where it kicks the door trying to get out.

Twenty-five degrees, and sunny. I was in my MM all day today. Nice and sunny meant no snow and twenty-five degrees meant no melting of the snow already down. It felt good to drive it today. Snow is going to start melting this week, I guess I'll be back in the PT.

Some of us northerners drive whenever we want, too! We just have to get used to the the whitish-grey 'racing stripes' along the sides of the car ;)
