Long / Short block needed

Well,
It has happened to me....nasty knock in the lower end of the motor.
Barely 87K, and I couldn't have been stricter with maintenance on it.

So, if someone has a line on a good deal, please email/PM me.
My funds are a bit dry, so no pretty new blocks or aluminators are in the picture (the joy of divorce.....).

Thanks guys. Either I find a good deal or the MM heads off to the yard to be broken up for parts.

Why not find a mark 8 motor and put your pan and heads and intake on it until you can find or have the funds for a better setup.

I know the mark 8 motor differs with hp and i believe compression ratio but they can be picked up pretty cheap. I got one from the local pick n pull yard for around 175.00 with less than 15k on it, still has the jasper stickers and dates on it when it was reman.

Just a thought, i would hate to see it get parted out. i have a wrecked one ill fix one day i picked up cheap that still has a clean title and i wouldn't think of parting it out.

Thats just me though.
