Bill Bandy's (Black Terror) wife passed

I received a message from Todd Fisher today that Bill Bandy's (Black Terror) wife Carol passed Yesterday (Sunday 5/27). Funeral is scheduled for Wednesday in the Marietta, Georgia area.

According to Todd he is doing well under the circumstances and has lots of family around for support.

I wish him and his family well during this time.

I was with Bill Sunday morning shortly before his wife passed. Bill has been part of my extended "Marauder family" for ten years niow. As I told him then and I reiterate now that he and his family are in the thoughts and prayers of my family.

Here is his wife's obituary:

Carol Allen Bandy, age 75, of Marietta, GA passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Macland Road Church of Christ with Phillip Satterfield officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. She will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to the service. A native of Montgomery, AL, Mrs. Bandy moved to Marietta in 1963. She was a homemaker, and was a member of Macland Road Church of Christ. Survivors include: Husband, Bill Bandy; 2 Daughters, Cherie Smith and husband Stewart of Lilburn, GA and Sylvia Little and husband Charles, Jr. of Marietta; 2 Siblings, Robert G. Allen and Nancy G. Tolliver, both of Montgomery, AL; 4 Grandchildren, Charles Edward Little III, Rebeca Little, Jackson Smith and Madeline Smith; Many Nieces and Nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Luekemia and Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5pm - 8 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. I saw Bill this evening and he appeared to be doing as well as could be expected. I had the opportunity to meet some of Bill's family and they were quite lovely.

A lil history for folks who are interested.......... Our monthly breakfasts that kick off all sorts of Saturday fun, can be traced back to Bill Bandy, and Todd Fisher.

According to reliable sources, Bill and Todd met at the dealership while taking delivery of their Marauders, developed a freindship, which then moved to a monthly meeting of "car guys" (probably due to the fact that Mrs. Bandy was a staunch GM loyalist, and Bill needed a monthly escape from her giving him "the business":D).

So for all of the fun we have down here in the ATL with our gang and all who join us (of course ALL are welcome.... Bill, Todd, or for that matter Mrs. Bandy would not have it any other way) we really have the Bandy's to thank for it all.........

Now we have someone looking out for us from above....... Thank you Mrs. Bandy, Bill & Todd.
