As I mentioned to a couple of you at Mooresville, the Charlotte Cars and Coffee car show is held on the first Saturday of each month. This is a good one to bring along the spouse that doesn’t want to sit all day as it starts about 8:00 am and usually ends around 10:30 am.

This is a great chance to see some beautiful cars. If it’s a nice day, there will be about 400 cars on display ranging from the exotic such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche and Aston Martin to the American muscle car such as Corvettes, Mustangs, Camaros, etc. I haven’t seen a Marauder yet, but they would fit right in.

Here is a short video from one of last year’s shows. BTW, the green Jag at 1:29 is ours.

The show is held at the parking lot for the North Carolina Music Factory. The lot is behind Mattie’s Diner at 915 Hamilton Street.

Lola and I will be there with the Jag. Hope to see some of you there.

You can park whereever you want. Some clubs meet off site, then come as a group so they can park together.

The parking lot is huge so there is no problem with parking.

One word of warning. This event used to be held at Northlake Mall. In March, someone in a Cobra Mustang did a burnout leaving, lost control and hit a pole. The mall kicked us out.

There should be no burnouts as the Charlotte police will have cops on site.

Unfortunatelly work has called me back in tomorrow(sat)---however--after knowing about this monthly event , no doubt I /we will have to show at one of them----looking ahead towards next month will have us in Richmond,Va. at a family wedding--so that one is out too--maybe in Aug..........

I like your idea here^^^^^^^^^Don------I think when we get a group, bunch together we will do this --nothing like a line-up of Marauders pulling up/into a lot for a show---folks heads do a swival and keep turning!!!!!!!

Can't make this one. Was going to go in March, but it was rained out & didn't find out about the rain date(the day after) until afterwards. :(
