So I took my car to a hand wash only car wash. And they took a SOS type pad to get the bugs off the windshield. I was kinda fine with but, the guy must of went crazy with it and hit the rubber molding and paint. And they also scratched the roof by the moon roof. Not to mention I had to quick detail my whole car cause they tried to Whipe my car dry with a wet towel they would only wring dry.

So my question is what should I do? The poster says satisfaction guaranteed.
I was not satisfied just straight pissed. Yea the scratches may or may not buff out. But, Thats part of the problem my rubber Molding is horrible and it was not befor I went there. And yea my car has the crappy factory black paint. They might look at it and say they did not do them scratches and tell me to flush off.

What should I do??

You didn't notice it at the time of the wash? You cant really prove anything if you left and didn't say anything.

When a hand wash place scratched mine, I called them on it right there and they took the appropriate measures to get it fixed.

Every real detailer knows a normal rag will leave swirl mark and will have to be buffed. Tell them to pay for a buff job

I used to clean my car at my old house cause I had plenty of shade. But no shade at my new house. So water spots start way befor I start drying. I tried all that I could to make no water spots. But could not.

See if you can find the Mr. Clean car wash system. Works great!

I'd be chatting with the manager before I left the store! Don't let them get away with that.

Get a good quality leather chamois. It helps alot with drying it quick and in making the water spots disappear along with annoying streaks that towels leave.

Go back and raise some hell with the manager.:argue:

Every real detailer knows a normal rag will leave swirl mark and will have to be Polished. Tell them to pay for a Paint correction

Fixed it for you
There isn't enough paint on our cars to buff.

Go back and be nice.

For the last two + years. I have not washed my car because it hurts my back so bad. So I have been going to the same place. They do a good job.

But........................

One time about a year ago. One of the vacume guys put a big hole in my floor mat with the sharp pointed edge of the vacume nozzle when he smacked the mat to remove the loose debris. I went back to the store. Talked to the mamagers. They looked online and called dealers looking for repalcement MM mats and couldnt find them. I told them about our reproduced mats and I was fully reimbursed for my new mats.

Since then they have rounded off the sharp pointed edges on the vacume nozzles.

But I went back with in 20 minutes after leaving the car wash. And it helps that I am a regular there and talk with the employees often.

Call now and leave a message. Go back tomorrow asap!!!

I called them as soon as I saw the marks but no answer. So tomorrow I'm going to call or go right after work and talk with them. I'm sure they will just try to buff it out. But they are not touching my car again.

I wash most of my cars at home then I go for a drive to take off most of the water off with the air psi while driving. Then detail it dry after. It's work for me.

Dry with a leaf blower. The less stuff actually touching your paint the better

Dang Brandon, I don't care what you say, I think your car is CLEAN! I would certainately tell them as you may have not noticed like most people till you got to really looking. You should see what that tire place did to one of my rims... That I just noticed last week. Now THAT'S too late to complain. My fault..
