Between the two which should I get. Will 1/2 spacer be a bit excessive and make upper rub or be a pita to connect egr!?

The 3/8 spacer with the extra gasket makes for a total of 1/2".

Guy "Roy" makes 3/8 and 1/2 spacers I know he does but my point is you have to add the extra gasket thickness to whatever you get.

Spacers don't add any power...all bark, no bite.

I've done before and after dynos with spacers and each time the power difference was "0". I'm not the only one that has had this experience.

That may be the case for you, but every car and combo is different, what works for you may not work me! and vice versa

I had a +5 when I did mine, it wasn't back to back though, but it was the same dyno with SAE correction. But, unless its back to back, its 6's really.
