looked everywhere and no1 really wanted to help point me in the right direction FBM helped alot and i finally found the o-rings on ebay in sets of 4 for 5.00

i seen somone said they got a 100 count for bout 6 bucks so tese are a little expensive but hey 5.00 is well worth getting my eatc unit working like new again with air coming from vents and wherever i want it to go :D

these are the right o-rinsg for our unit right im pretty possitive thnaks alot for the guys who helped.

gonna use FBM write-up on getting the unit out the car and a guys write-up on crown vic. net he made a awesome step by step with pichures write-up should make this an easy fix and save some money and time waiting or get the part pback if shiped out.

soon as i get the o-rings will tell yuo guys how i did just gonna take my time and be extra careful. since this is a very common problem maybe in the future i can help other perform this simple fix.

will keep you guys updated i cant wait to get this done since it getting so hot already and gonna be a veryyyy hot summer

You wanna make sure you get the silicone o-rings as rubber ones will dry out and flatten/crack, just like the OEM rings.

My rubber ones lasted 9 years, and that's what I had handy, so that's what I used. It was fun to do the repair, so I'll look forward to doing it again in 7 or 8 years......
