Went to the Mustang Club of Central Iowa car show today, had a blast. Let me start out by bragging about taking 3rd in my class, but I will say 2nd was an 80s mercury capri with a new 5.0 motor swap and vortec supercharger. 1st was this nicely restored maverick. Lots of very nice stuff there, I didnt take pics of nearly as much as I should have, but here is some.



The maverick that took 1st in the 1970+ mercury other class (other than cougar)

All in all I think they said there was 231 vehicles there... not bad.

Those Mavericks and Comets were such a cool looking car! Love those things.

I had a F350 Super Camper Special like the one in your next to last picture.
I stuffed a 429 and a fresh C6 in it.
Great truck!
