Not a Marauder-specific meet up but if anyone is looking for something to do the weekend of June 23 and 24th, check out the Northern Virginia Brewfest at Morvern Park in Leesbug, VA

As always, I am volunteering (this is my 10th straight Brewfest and I always have a great time). I am on the first shift SUNDAY (10 AM - 2 PM). I don't know what pouring station I will be at, but if you do come I can hook you up with free tastings, tickets and possible some schwag.

This is a fun event with more than just beer. There's bands, food, arts, crafts, cigars, etc.

Any questions, let me know. You can see the full list of participating breweries on the website. We have local, national and international breweries participate every year so you're bound to find a beer to your liking. They even have cider :banana:

Kinda funny after I created this thread I received this email. They are still looking for volunteers on Sunday so if anyone is interested pm,me !

Sunday volunteers are needed to pour beer, check ID's and take tickets at the gate for the second shift (2:30 PM -7:00 PM).

If you know someone who could help on Sunday, please have them register through the website novabrewfest.com/summer or email their contact information to Lee Ann at volunteer@novabrewfest.com.

NOTE: An Orientation will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 beginning at 6:30 PM at Vintage 50 Restaurant & Brew Lounge at 50 Catoctin Circle NW, Leesburg, VA 20176. Anyone who has not volunteered for a No Va BrewFest (Fall or Summer) in the past year should attend this session. If you have NEVER volunteered for a No Va BrewFest you must attend this session.

Volunteers will receive entry into the event, a BrewFest T-shirt, a souvenir tasting glass and 4 beer tickets for tasting during your non-working time at the event. (This non-working time can be on the day you do not volunteer. For example, if you volunteer on Sunday afternoon, your non-working time could be Saturday.)
