Power Moon Roof, Trunk Organiser, and 6 year 100K
extended warranty.

I also ordered the following to be included on the dealer invoice:

Remote Start and Alarm - Installed
Daytime Running Lights - Installed
Rear Spoiler - Installed
Marauder Logo Car Cover

I am excited about taking delivery in 6 to 8 weeks

I am working and living in the New Orleans, LA area, but I own my permanant home in the Sacramento, CA area. The car will reside in LA initially, under its new cover until I buy a home here. I may keep the Buick for a commute beater and enjoy the MM on weekends.

I bought the Black one with all the options I wanted for my target price. I am not old enough to get the AARP discount and the Loyalty discount of $500 didn't apply even with three more Fords in my driveway! Had to be a currently registered Mercury!

After some soul searching, I decided that Black is the definitive color for the MM.

I liked the Silver, but there are too many Mercury Marquis out there with grampa driving painted Silver, and Red paint does not hold up well.

I am looking forward to picking up my new car!

One more plus, you`re probably going to enjoy it more in your warmer weather climate, California or Louisiana. Anyhow, you`re joined a great group of indiviuals here and you`ll notice when you`re in need of information:

Great choice!!! The only downside to your purchase is the wait. You'll be
sweatin' bullets come the last week, but.......

Just had my my DTR Lights installed on my DTR Marauder. Really like them. The lights are at 75% intensity during the day and are on everytime the ignition is on. Now the MM looks more 'upscale' and 'up-to-date" during day-light hours.
I'm on my second Marauder. First one was 'triple black' and I really liked it. Have an awesome picture of the '03 in front of a huge american flag taken at a Mustang meet that hangs in my computer room.

I wanted the FLM Remote Start and Alarm package installed by the dealer so that it would become part of the 'delivered car'

Any problems later, I can go back on them to the dealer instead of an assortment of vendors.

Been there tried that. Dealer wouldn't honor it, and they contacted Ford and the said no card, no rebate. I even went so far as to contact Mercury customer service. I told them about ths site, and how members got the rebate under an associate member. I faxed over my letter head from AARP with my member number and copies of threads form this site explaning how members got the discount. They got back to me with a phone message saying no, boy talk about being personal with rejecton. Cold have at least of talked to me personally. I am not done with Ford. I might not get the discount, but will give some as*hole in Dearborn my 2 cents.

You are sure to enjoy your MM. I had a 91 park Avenue for commuting. Great car. I think you will much prefer time spent in your MM and park the Park.
