Where do you guys get your EGR delete kit from? I called Lethal Performance and they told me no guarantees that their kit will work on our cars. Their kit is made for 98 to 04 mustangs. Will this one work? Thanks for your input.

Just curious......why delete EGR when it does GOOD things if it is working correctly???:confused:

Good things? I thought egr was just for emmisions control? Besides it cleans the engine compartment up a little and it is already turned off in the tune.

L.P is where it's stated for Egr delete for Eaton swap and where I got mine from for it. Not on car but...

It's all relative.


EGR helps with idle control fuel consumption and fuel economy. Even though you probably aren't going for any of that, with computer controlled engines that we have yada, yada, it is a good thing to have a functional EGR. Makes everything more harmonious and the way it was intended to be used. Esspecially if you plan to drive the car outside of the track even if it's only for a short time.

That, or it keeps combustion temperatures down reducing formation of NOx gasses. NOx gasses are a primary cause of smog and acid rain.
But a harmonious engine sounds good, too :bigsmile:
