Has anyone put airbags in place of the front coil spring/shock combo? If so, how bad was the install and fabrication? The rear would be easy enough to convert to manual control and there is already a compessor...

dailydriver - IMO that would be almost impossible. Ebach front springs is the way to go to lower the front end.

not to mention ruining the handling:down:

But I bet the issue is that the Eibachs won't let you hop the car and the handling isn't the point.

Why do think that airbags would ruin the ride and handling? The rear suspension on our cars seems to work rather well considering it is a live axle. Take a look at some the German automakers and you will find airbags at all four corners.

If I wanted a car that would hop and handling wasn't the issue I would but an older car and do it right.

I think air on all four corners sounds like alot of work and some headaches when the car gets older. I have installed a couple of the eibach kits and they look killer!
