After removing trunk badge with fishing line,what's the best way to fill the 2 small holes I'm left with???Is it necessary to paint the whole trunk lid???anyone have a guesstamite of cost???Looking for shaved look....bugsy...:help:

PM Maruaderman, I think he had his shaved.
Cost will depend on what's used for filler (bondo or lead), and painting will depend on how closely the shop can match.
I'm gonna guess $150 - $250 for everything.

Don't use fishing line. Use a heat gun and a 4" wide plastic spackle knife. To fill the holes, it's best to weld and bodywork them. I wouldn't just try to fill them with bondo.

I removed mine a few months before I got it all filled and painted. I performed a very quick and easy temp fix, I cut two small circles out of electrical tape and placed them over the hold. I had about 1/8" around the hole. No one ever even noticed, you would have to know it was there and it was waterproof. I wouldnt suggest leaving it like that but like I said it will get you by if you have already removed it.:beer:
