The BFG Radial T/A for $125 is NOT the same as the MM OEM tire and does not have the same sidewall stiffness (and therefore handling characteristics) as the BFG g-Force KDWS performance tire for $208. It is the first one listed on the link provided; but status is listed as "Back Order". One of the tire guys here rated the BFG Radial T/A as "just better than bald tires". If you can't get the KDWS, go with one of the other performance tires recommended here on the site. You can also upsize to 255/55/18 and still not impact the Traction Control for a wider selection.

Check the PDF file in the first post of this thread for some tire options and some size combos >>>> http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=43731

I found OEM rear tires on Ebay, factory blemish category, for $235 (both).
Blemish= "this side in" label on the wrong side. They're brand new.
There may be some left.

musclemerc may be able to hook you up with those. I recall him may be having a source for the "blemish" ones.

If you want new, buy them new, but if you're going to burn them up anyway, you might want to consider this alternative.

My rears burn up quickly. So I buy used tires on Kijiji from guys selling them that work at tire shops with 70% tread left and save a bundle.

I just bought a set of four Eagle LS2 255/55R18 for $150 total. That's two sets of rears. And they're awesome tires!
