took the 'rauder to the track for the first time. it was a pro-street night so the track was prepped really well. the best i managed was 14.87 @ 94.87 mph with a 2.26 60'.
i guess it's ok but i was hoping for a 14.5. what do you guys think?

You have the mods for a mid 14 sec run, work on launching the car which is the key with the MM.
How did you take off?

it was actually pretty chilly that day. temp was in the upper 60's but was really humid as it rained into the morning.
i was upset when a IS350 reeled me in and beat me... he had a 100 mph trap

If you are running stock rear tires, avoid the water box if you can and then do a quick spin of the tires to clean them off. Most pre-load their converter to about 1800-2000 rpms.

thats what i did, but i don't think the converter likes it too much. it made a whining noise.
also with the converter, in the morning when the engine is cold the car will pulse under light pedal like i'm pressing the throttle in and out.

That's just your torque converter spooling down after being loaded up close to or at the set rpm stall for it, completely normal.
Mine does it pretty easily lol. I have a PI 3500 triple disc converter
