I plan on driving down there, have a nice quiet lunch, a couple unsweet teas and then calling it a day early...

Russ/Tom/Rex....

If some or all of us go and want to convoy to the TK, below is what I propose (I will be in staying in Harrisburg Friday night):

Russ and/or Tom and I meet up at SC welcome center on I-85 S (MM 103) at 10:30am. If Russ doesn't go, Tom and I can coord to catch each other on I-85 west of Charlotte between 10 and 10:30.

Meet up with Rex (and maybe others?) at rest area on I-85 S (MM 23) at approx noon.

From this meeting spot, it should take about 1+15 to get to the TK.

We can text each other during the drive to give ETAs until we're all together at last stop.

All other CMers are welcome to join....we'll tweak the convoy schedule as needed.

Sorry cannot make it. Our daughter is having her first house warming party and she wants Her Dad present--so....we hope all have fun-----------

on the other hand---------I have uncovered a New "Quaker Stake and Lube" in Pineville,NC--not to far from whereI live--about 8-9 mile

So will go check it out and let all know about it----

Further BTW---Am typing on my new lap-top and didn't know there are new functional keys and lea keys operations all over again--spell ckeck may be neessary--carry on!
