Iw as planning on using this part instead of smashing the Marauder tube. Its fairly inexpensive and I'd rather swap to a good part than intentionally damage the Marauder one. Plus theres a fitting on the marauder tube that needs to get plugged off that not on the Cobra tube? I havent seen much discussion on this and I'm just looking for opinions. What is the best way to go? Are there any downsides to using the Cobra tube?

I have a brand new Cobra tube I didn't end up using. I barely had to "massage" the MM coolant tube to make it work. I did mark where it hits and ground that section off the lower plenum too though.

I think I am going to use the cobra tube because I have one with the brackets and bolts that is on my terminator engine.
From what I understand, if you use the cobra tube you also do not have to grind anything off the lower plenum <------- can someone please confirm this understanding is correct?

I would like confirmation on this as well.
Can someone also confirm that there is no fitting to be plugged off like on the Marauder? I think the fitting leads to the intake coolant passages?

You do not need to grind anything or bend/bang on the the tube if you use the Cobra tube. I believe there is something else that needs to be done with the coolant hose to the heater core or the old coolant hose to the pcv on the old intake. I think it's mentioned in the Eaton swap write-up.
