While polishing my wheels yesterday I started to wonder what painted center caps would look like on my car. Not the whole cap just the back ground painted gloss black since I have a black car. Has anyone done this and if so could you post some pictures?

Try it with plasti-dip. Then if you like it, do it for real. That stuff is great!
I believe Cruztaker had done it on his car. Landy?

Birdman (CTRLraven) might be able to give advice on this, IIRC.

Alright, I saw the plasti dip website so now I know what it is. The wheels look great when they are plasti dipped. Still would like to know if anyone has done this to their center caps. Thanks for the link Ms. Denmark.

I know I saw a DTR with Marauder wheels and the center caps were painted DTR..I cant remember where I saw it..I think it was for sale so either ebay or autotrader or something..I did not see it up close or in person but I thought it looked good. I would try the plastidip since you can easily remove it if it is not the look you want.
