How about a forum in The Garage for "Interiors"? Asking about favourite leather treatments or best air freshener just seems wrong under "Shop Talk"

I think we should just have a garage interior section :)

Or just a home garage section that would include the garage itself and also the latest tools and gadgets for fixing stuff.

I think it would be a really good edition, especially with all the recent LED upgrades that have been going on a Audio questions. The Garage, Garage section would be awesome as well. I dont have much to add to it but I love seeing what everyone else is blessed with:beer:

If your car isn't kept in your garage it is not a garage.

I didn't have a garage till I was 35 years old, love it now that I have one could of used it when I was younger when I had older cars growing up and had to work on them all the time.

It's nice how lots of you have garages in which you can do things, like park your car or work on stuff. All I have is the interior of my Marauder, and as such, I work on that every now and then. I thought it'd be nice to have an area in this forum where I could talk about stuff like that... I think I might even suggest that... oh wait a second... I did!

That's okay, feel free to revel in the wonders of your garage interiors. I'll continue annoying neighbours and praying for good weather.

Forgive the absence of a door and walls in need of paint. Way too busy lately to finish.

This is the attatched shed on the back I built a couple months ago to store the eguipment. 10' X 20' and as simple as it gets. Forgive the mess, can't find my french made outfit..

Err, when I said 'Garage: Interiors', I wasn't actually referring to the interior spaces of various garages. I was referring to the forum grouping labelled 'The Garage'. That's the section which currently contains 'Shop Talk', 'Exhaust', 'Tuning', 'Transmissions' and a few others.
I was suggesting the creation of another sub-forum, in the 'The Garage' group, for the purpose of discussing the Marauder interior/cabin/coach space. It might be titled something like 'Interiors'.

I don't browse by forums, but wasn't there already a wax and/or detailing sub section? Or you simply want one dedicated to interior only? Contact Mary and see if she can change up the wording? I would associate detailing to cover all myself.

I think many forget we have a Reviews Section...many Interior sub-headings.

http://www.mercurymarauder.net/reviews/

I think it would be pretty thin on discussion since there's already Wash, Wax and Detailing. Audio/Sound System/Navigation does make sense to add.

Ahh, details. Nothing special really. It is an American Autolifters 10,000 lb. Simple 19 amp draw, 3/4" concrete anchors. The door is still a hurdle, but I can at least get her up about 54" and sit in my rolling seat still reaching up.

Roll up 18 X 7 commercial door hopefully soon to come. Wall ties already raised. Lift columns are only 8'2" but will raise the pads to an amazing 6' 6" IIRC! I wish.. Tested and held at 24,000 lb's at the Factory, to bad the Economy hit them hard as well in '05. Great quality.

I am only a few key tools/machinery away from my dreams, but space is an issue. Next major piece is a four post for storage so I can move on to some much older iron.

I've always dreamed of having a lift that would lift the car into the center of the 2nd floor game room, and have it sit there for decoration while I host wild parties!!!:beer:

Now, That would be the Coooolest!

If I ever go 2 stories on my house, I will certainly consider it...and add a fire pole to slide down when I go to work...:D:banana:

The Reviews section seems to be where people can post up information about some product or procedure that they have tried. It's no good for asking questions.

Wash,Wax and Detailing is mostly about the vehicle exterior - though I suppose interiors are detailed every now and then too.

Audio/Sound/Nav is a subset of Interiors - why limit the topic to just stereos?
