I've gotten more compliments on my car in the last two weeks than I did with my last car in four years.

I've noticed that the Marauder gets more compliments & attention than any of the 4 cars I've owned prior to it (95 Roadmaster, 92 Sedan deVile, 99 S320, 00 Regal GS).

There is also a 3rd type .... usually at car shows who know for a fact that it is just a "cop car" with fancy wheels and then explains all of this to their girlfriend while you are within earshot of the conversation. Its fun to walk up and ;) at her and say "He's wrong". :D

Even though mine is a SB I still get questions/comments! Where did you get that car? Man, I've been looking for one of those. What's a Marauder? Are those aftermarket wheels? and the best one from a 75 year-old Crown Vic owner. . .

When I bought mine six years ago I would get comments like "Nice custom cop car" and "What's a 'Marooder'?". Now it seems that about once a week I have a complete stranger come up to me and say "Nice Marauder!".

Funny It was the same way when I first got my car, I had a man walk up to me as I was getting tires put on and said "hold on to it." Simply put people love the looks of these car and it being a 4 door sedan makes it even more impressive to me.

Had a door-to-door home security salesman ask what kind of car I had...we were talking in my driveway, my car in the garage, door open, back end facing out...I told him it's a Marauder. He says, "oh, I thought maybe you had put your last name on your bumper". :dunno: :confused:

Several "how much you want for it" questions; a woman that worked in the convenience store close to my house in SC would always ask me "when are you going to sell your rims to me?" :down:

Some of the 'locals' that live around me and have either a: a. pickup truck b. car with fart cannons/modified exhaust c. mustang, vette, or similar, recognize my car now and always mash the gas...I guess trying to impress me? Anyways, now that I've got ATs and 410s, I'm not shy any more when these clowns are around...except for the guy with the Roush Mustang....lol.

This is about the time of the year when I stop driving it.. Every last motorhead has their "racecar" out and getting challenged at damn near every light gets old really quick. Easier to go without, too hard to back down. My life and my license mean way more to me I guess. Now a tap of the gas is not an uncommon thing by no means, usually that is more than enough piss in their cheerios or better yet completly ignore or simply laugh and maintain speed. But that is hard to do.

But when every third car that goes by has someone breaking their neck staring and admiring, and two huge thumbs up from a GT500 while your just sitting a stop sign idling and when you give that 5.0 a small blower screaming sideways taste of what he most clearly asked for both in under a couple weeks, that right there makes this a very fun car, IF you can control your emossions and not get arrested...
