I am wanting to put KYB on my car..I have addco already..Do I want to go KYB on all four or just front and new rear stock? Also on the metco or any of the other control arms what are the improvements one could expect..I know the off the line improvement ,but what about going down the road and over bumps and things like that driving seat of the pants expectations..

The car will handle as if it were on rails with the metcos, you will fell every bump, but its nothing some good shocks cant address.
I would do KYBs and moog coils on the front, and some nakkes (qa1s) on the rear

The KYBs are nice. I have them up front (and cut stock coils) with monroe severe service in the back. I would describe the ride as firm but not harsh. Also have the sway bars front and rear.
Another alternative to the metco control arms are the ones from Sparta performance (if he has any in stock) or contact musclemerc on chicago garage for his "boxed" stock control arms.
Control arms will stiffen up the rear on turns and twisties, and get rid of that flexing feeling.

I have Addco sway bars, all the Metco suspension parts (rear control arms, drive shaft hoop & Watts link) and factory springs and shocks. The ride is a bit harder but the handeling is fantastic.
One thing to remember........ if you go with boxed OEM rear control arms you will still have the same soft / mushie bushings which IMHO defeats the purpose of replacing the control arms in the first place.

What is the benefit of the drive shaft hoop..

What is the benefit of the drive shaft hoop..
If you're drag racing and you bust a U-joint, it'll keep the drive shaft from dropping and either:
(a) if dropping from the rear, beating itself, and the track all to h*ll
or
(b) If dropping from the front, digging into the track and pole vaulting the car.
As for road use, really no benefit.
Also, regarding the boxed control arms, I'll give 'em a good reference. They're WAY better than the flimsy OEM units, and will provide a big improvement, even with the standard bushings. Price is right, too.
