It appears that the marauder gets a leeetle more page time every issue.

I just received my winter 2004 issue, and there is a six page article written by Kenny Brown. It offers a more personal side of his experience with the '03 MM.

And what do I find in the next article? A neat photo spread of the Trilogy concept marauder.

Page 46 has an article regarding the final resting place for the now infamous 2001 Chicago Auto Show concept convertable Marauder.

These articles just show how much the IMOA is getting aquainted with us.
But the reference to us being '2 PERCENTERS'.....priceless.

But the reference to us being '2 PERCENTERS'.....priceless.Real ly?? Alright!! :bounce: I can't wait to see the issue! I'm told QuickSilver is glad to accept anything we want to send their way. If you're having a special meet and can write a story around it, with a picture, send it along!

For those of us who don't get Quicksilver, what did it say about the concept convertible's fate?

Stephen Cohen, of Leesburg, Virginia, topped the the bidding of $37,655 for
(this) Mercury Marauder convertable concept car that was autioned on e-Bay.

The car was donated by Ford Motor Company, and the proceeds of the final
bid went to the Childrens Charity Coalition.

OK, with that being said, although it's not stated in this article, I could have sworn that I read somewhere that the car cannot be driven on public roadways, and is NOT qualified to be registered or titled with the DMV.

Anyone care to elaborate?

Hey, we've got members in Virginia (you gotta be careful with typos with that name ;) ). Perhaps somebody could pay Mr. Cohen a visit and take along their digital camera? I know I would love to see this car close up, even if it is mostly a mock up. And talk to the dude. And see what other interesting 4 wheeled collectibles he has.....
