I'm highly conflicted:

One the one hand, it looks like someone did a very nice job on the conversion, and I have to say I don't hate it.

On the other, I hate that a classic car was butchered like this.

Hopefully it was a plain jane junkyard special that he just went nutty on. Other than the color combo I really like it. Way more appealing to the eye than the Magnum wagons. I would imagine this car would get mobbed at a car show. Heck, anywhere it goes. I'd like to see this attempted with the next generation body. Could you imagine a (fake) Boss 302 wagon?

I kinda like that Purple MM. Looks well done. But could do without the lambo doors and rims though. Ms. Denmark would be all over that one if it has purple valve covers and airbox to match. ;)

I was expecting to vomit when I opened the link, but damn, that's a nice looking car.

It's a true 2 dr hardtop wagon (no B pillar, but has a rear side window) which, as I remember, only one other car ever offered, the late 50's and 1960 Mercurys (2 dr and 4 dr hardtops). (Olds and Buick did offer 4 dr hardtop wagons.)

The rear deck isn't slab sided, like a Pinto.

The car needs buckets, because wagon or not, had this car ever been built by Ford, the owner would not have bought it to transport mulch.

At carshows, this car would be a stunner.

Purple looks close to the CA's and Watt's link color on the SB. I kinda like the color too but like Chuckie Cheese could live w/o the Lambo doors and ugly rims.

We are hoping Triple Threat would consider coming to the NH meet in his Purple Panther.:)
