About to get my car dyno tuned and custom tuned and i was wondering does a custom tune really wakes up our car and if so how?

Yes, and it's magic. Seriously, the tune will optimize things like timing, fueling, transmission schedule.

Make sure the tuner you go to understands Marauders. These cars ain't Mustangs, even though they may both run 4.6L engines.

Honestly a tune provided by Lidio or Mo will be just fine. You only really need to start getting into dyno tuning once you have done headers or/and force induction.

Not to knock a custom dyno tune by any means, but a tune from Lidio or Mo is gonna wake your car up big-time, and if you buy your xCal tuner from them the tune is basically free.
That woul be the route I'd go until you start doing some additional mods to the car.

Give Mo's a call and talk to Jeff. I'm sure they can get you squared away with an email tune that you can upload yourself onto your tuner. I know Lidio does not do email tunes anymore.

What you can do, is talk to Marty and see if he can sell you a custom tune for your car by having you use the SCT tuner you allready have to datalog specific PIDs he would need to look at (he can send you a sct livelink config file with what you need).

Spot on. That's a good route to go if you already have a tuner. A canned tune will give you a good basis to start with, and if you ever go with additional mods (open up he exhaust, SC, etc) you can utilize a custom tuner to tweak the necessary parameters.
